Come & Sing: Vivaldi Gloria

On Saturday 12 September, Vox Populi were delighted to host a glorious afternoon of music-making in West Malling! Our Come & Sing: Vivaldi Gloria event took place at West Malling Primary School, bringing together 67 singers from 8 choirs across Kent and Surrey!

Under the baton of Artistic Director James Meaders, the choir explored musical structure, choral performance, and a variety of vocal production techniques - resulting in beautifully unified sounds and a performance to be proud of!

The choir was accompanied by the wonderful Richard Hamond-Hall for the day, and soloists Laura Fowler and Hannah Pinney-Thomson performed the work’s solo movements.

Thanks go out to James for his inspiring leadership, to Richard for his ever-present ear and sensitive playing, and to West Malling Primary School for hosting us for the afternoon.

Thank you all for putting on such a fabulous afternoon event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the energy in the room.
